Enrolment process

Sixth Form Enrolment Process 2025

Shenley Brook End School Students and External Students will all enrol in the same way but at different times.

I would like all students to come into school to enrol with us. That way, we know you are on the right course.

If you are on holiday or cannot make it into school for any reason, by all means log-in online. You must remember that if there is a problem with your enrolment it will be very difficult to reach us in school on enrolment day, and you will have to arrange an MS Teams meeting or phone call with one of the Sixth Form Team. This may not be until the end of the day.

Shenley Brook End School Students - 9.00am to 12.30pm (pick up GCSE results 9.00am to 10.00am)

You come into school by the main school entrance, collect your results and then enrol whilst still in school.

In your results envelope you will have one of three slips:

  1. Well done - you have achieved the grades so please enrol now using Applicaa. Stay in school and do this.
  2. Well done on your grades, however, you have not met some entry grades. Come and have a chat to us in Phase 1 to see if we can help you (Mr Greenhalgh, Mrs Tillery and Mrs Brooker will be there). If we can help you, stay in school and enrol on-line using Applicaa.
  3. Well done on your results, however, you have not met our entry grades. Please use your back-up plan for your destination.

We will make computers available for you to log-in using your school log-in. We should have enough space to enrol all Shenley Brook End students if you enrol by 12.30pm.

Your actual GCSE results will be loaded onto the Applicaa ready for results day so that you know Applicaa grades will be correct.

Update your photograph on Applicaa, making sure it is professional looking.

External Students - 12.30pm to 3.00pm
  1. Come into Shenley Brook End School via the main entrance.
  2. Bring proof of your GCSE results with you (A results slip is fine for proof, making sure your ULN is viewable in the results slip). When you go home later take a picture of this and add it to your enrolment form. If you need to add any other legal documentation, bring this with you also (e.g. leave to remain and study in the UK).
  1. You will then speak to one of our Sixth Form Team and they will help you to complete the enrolment form in person.
  2. If there are any problems with your enrolment form, our Sixth Form Team will be there to help you with any questions you may have.
  3. We will not be able to enrol you on Thursday 21 August as we are oversubscribed.

Therefore, we are asking all external students to have their enrolment form completed by 3.00pm on Thursday 21 August. Once we have all the enrolment forms, the Sixth Form Team will look at the enrolments for each subject and start to enrol you from Friday 22 August applying our admissions policy if classes are oversubscribed.

We aim to have all students fully enrolled by 12.30pm on Friday 22 August.

An automated e-mail will be sent to you about your enrolment. This will be whether it is successful or not.

If you have been successful, log back into Applicaa and update your photograph, making sure it is professional looking. Please also add your results slip as proof if you have not already done this.

The new term starts at 8.25 on Wednesday 3 September 2025. Please use the Sixth Form entrance to enter the school

Many thanks

Mr D Greenhalgh Director of Sixth Form
